Gail Keech, Technology Management with Project Management specialization M.S., 2012
As a lifelong learner I continue to acquire new skills and hone the ones I have by taking formal courses, earning industry certifications, and interacting with colleagues. Currently taking Cisco Certified Networking Associate (CCNA) coursework, as well as, fulfilling the Certified Associate in Project Management (CAPM) requirements.
Acquiring new skills and immediately implementing them is my forte. For example, as I learned Project Scope Management, Project Cost Management, and Project Risk Management in my courses I was immediately able to leverage that knowledge at work and in my personal life.
Project Management Institute best practices. Three areas that appeal to me are taking a logical approach to solving a problem, brainstorming and then creating order out of chaos, and enjoying a company culture that promotes the strengths of the individual within the group.
